Alice Melarkey (nee Connolly) died on Thursday 26th August 2021 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family
Alice, beloved wife of the late Arthur (R.I.P.), loving mother to Elizabeth (Francie Treacy), Noel, Vinnie (Josie), Alice, and Pat (Tina R.I.P.) Sister of Susan Toye (Jim) Roslea. Her daughter-in-law Tina and grandson Ronan predecease her.
Alice will repose at her late home until removal on Saturday morning at 10.30 a.m. to arrive at The Church of Immaculate Conception, Newtownbutler for 11 o’clock funeral mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Her daughters, sons, son-in-law Francie, daughter-in-law Josie, grandchildren, (Especially her Granddaughter Ann and husband Paddy in Boston), great-grandchildren, Her sister Susan and by her brother-in-law Jim. nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends will sadly miss her. Due to Covid 19 restrictions Alice’s wake funeral Mass and burial will be private to family and friends only please. Alice’s family appreciate your co-operation at this sad and sensitive time.
