Funeral details for the late Benny (Ben) Connolly
32 O’Duffy Terrace, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan and late of Loch Mor Avenue, Ballybay and formerly of Cootehill, Co. Cavan
Benny (Ben) Connolly died on Tuesday August 3rd. Peacefully in the tender loving care of the staff and management of St. Mary’s Nursing Home Castleblayney, surrounded by his family.
Benny's wife Margaret, his parents John and Elizabeth predecease him. His infant siblings; Mae, Bridget, Teresa, Kevin, Gerard, Peter, Jude, his brothers Noel, Jim, Jack and Tommy also predecease Benny.
His daughters' Collette O’ Connor, Drogheda, Catherine Fitzpatrick, Ballybay, Janet Leonard, Clontibret and son Anthony, Carrickatee all miss him. Sadly missed also by his brothers' Ðermot and Brendan, Cootehill, his nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren, his sons in law Sean, Paul and Paddy and daughter in law Katharina, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends will all remember him.
Reposing at Ward's Funeral Home, Ballybay on Wednesday evening, among his family and friends from 3 pm until 9 pm. Ben’s Funeral cortège will travel from 32 O’Duffy Terrace, Ballybay, on Thursday morning at 10:30 am, and will proceed on foot, to St Patrick’s Church, Ballybay, for funeral Mass at 11 am. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Due to the current restrictions on numbers at funeral ceremonies, Ben’s funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family only. Family flowers only please donations in lieu if desired to Ballybay cancer society, c/o Ward's Funeral Home. House Strictly Private Please.
