Bridget (Bridie) Connolly (née Maguire) died on Saturday 4th September peacefully, in the tender care of the staff of Newgrange 2, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, surrounded by her beloved family.
Her husband John, her sisters Lily & Dora & her brother Oliver all predecease her.
Bridget's family, her daughters, Angela Flanagan, Laura, Oakhill, Louthvillage & Teresa Ward, Oram, her sons, Larry Lough Egish & Paddy, Latton, sons-in-law, Brian & Paul, daughter-in-law Ann, deeply regret her passing.
Her adored grandchildren, Orla, Cera, Caroline, Oisín, Lochlann, Emmet, Anna-Maria, Declan, Darren, Damien, Donna, Colin & Stefan will dearly miss her. Her twelve great-grandchildren and her great-great-granddaughter, her sister Margaret (Quinn, Faughert) & Philomena (Loughman, Doohamlet), her brothers Eamon (Bettystown) & John (Castleblayney), sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends will all deeply miss her and regret her passing.

Bridget's Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross on Monday, 6th September, at 11am followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Castleblayney. In accordance with most recent guidelines the capacity of the Church is limited to 50%.

There will be an opportunity for the community to pay their respects by lining the route, in a socially distanced manner, as Bridget's funeral cortège leaves her daughter Angela & son-in-law Brian's home, Creevyswinburne, on Monday at 10:20am via Cloughvalley, on foot via Farney Street, pausing at St. Macartan's Villas, proceeding to St. Joseph's Church.
