I would like to extend my sincere sympathy to Martina's family, especially her mother Mary who looked over Martina like an angel and was the best mother in the world to her wonderful daughter. When I heard the news that Martina had died, I was extremely sad. Back when I was 15 I was asked to volunteer to go to Lourdes with my faith and light group in Clones. I was a little nervous as I didn't know what to expect helping to look after all these young people with "special needs" and we would be buddied up with a person. We'll I was buddied up with Martina and my life changed. All my beliefs changed on people with special needs, Martina and I soon become great buddies and she showed me that we were exactly the same. All we wanted from this world was fun, laughter and sillyness. We had an amazing time in Lourds and Martina or "Tina" as I called her became a real buddy of mine from that day to this. Everytime me and Martina saw each other, I would get a hug a slag and a great laugh. I really loved Martina. And I'm so sad I'm never gonna get my hug from this lovely lady ever again. Our bond was never broken and I will continue to prayer and miss Martina. My buddy for life. Love you and I'll miss you. Bridget xxx
