Drumalee, Cavan Town & formerly of Doonbeg Co. Clare & Lettermore, Co. Galway.
Tuesday, April 6th peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his sister Eileen.
Mattie will be forever missed by his heartbroken wife Josephine, his loving sons; Kevin & Fionan, his brother Kevin, sister in law, Bernie & daughter in law, Noelle. Mattie will always be remembered in the hearts & minds of his cherished grandchildren, Amy, Katie, Ben, Rachel & Sean, his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours & all who knew & loved him.
Due to current HSE & government restrictions, Mattie's Funeral mass & burial will be private to family only. Those who would like to do so are asked to post their messages to the family in the condolences section at the bottom of the page. Mattie's Funeral cortege will depart his residence at 12.45pm on Thursday to arrive at the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan for Funeral mass at
1 o’clock. Burial will take place afterwards in St. Brigid's Cemetery, killygarry.
