Mavis Weir (nee Sharpe)
Derrygooney, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan and formerly Maudabawn, Co.Cavan,
on Tuesday, 4th May, peacefully in St. Mary's Hospital, Castleblayney. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Willie.
Resting at her home until removal on Thursday, 6th May, for Funeral service in Christ Church, Aughnamullen (Latton) at 2pm. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Mavis, if so desired to Dementia Ireland, C/o Conly Funeral Directors, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan or any family member. Due to the current Covid restrictions the house and funeral are private.Mavis's funeral cortege will travel via Derrygooney, Veldin's Cross and onto Aughnamullen. Those who wish to line the route may do so. Please adhere to the social distancing guidelines at all times.
Mavis will be dearly missed by her loving family, her daughters Eileen (Dickson, Mullyash) and Muriel (Conlon, Muckno St.), son Harold (Dublin), sons-in-law Wesley, Patrick and Diego, her much loved grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
