Philip Finnegan passed away on Sunday August 29th 2021, suddenly at his home.
Beloved son of the late Phil and Betty and brother of the late Gene and Noel.
His brother Gerry, sisters Ann McCaffrey, Marion Green and Rosie will sadly miss Philip. His sister in law Claudine, brother in law Charlie, nephews, nieces, uncle Tony, aunt Margaret, all his relatives and many, many friends regret his passing.
May he rest in peace.
Funeral will be private to family, relations and close friends. Philip will be reposing at Mc Mahon's Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan from six o’clock until eight o’clock on Wednesday evening. Everyone will be asked to adhere to covid 19 guidelines by wearing face coverings, practicing social distancing and Refraining from hand shaking.
The Funeral will arrive to the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan on Thursday morning for Funeral Mass at half past eleven, via Farnham Street. A Maximum of 50 people can attend the. Cremation will follow the funeral mass at Lakeland Crematorium at 12.45pm. Cortege will travel along Farnham Street and College Street to the Crematorium. The Finnegan family would like to express their gratitude to all of you for your understanding and cooperation with them at this sad time. Mass is restricted to 50 people.
