Thursday June 10th, peacefully in the loving care of his family and the exceptional staff in Surgical 1 at Cavan General Hospital.
Beloved husband of the late Dora ( nee Caffrey ) & brother of the late Paddy. Much loved father of Angela, Pauric, Adrian and Siobhan. Sadly missed by his Sons in law Paddy Keavney and Darren Morgan and Daughters in law Natalie Clarke and Catherine Leddy . Adored "Gaga" to Lauren , Rachel, Lucy, Dara , Naoise, Clodagh, Cormac, Tara, Emma and Carla . Also missed by all extended members of the Dempsey and Caffrey families especially nephews John and Robert Dempsey and cousin Marie Coyle, all his good neighbours and many friends . May he Rest In Peace .
Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan Friday from half past four concluding with prayers at half past six. Funeral cortege will leave the family home in Drumalee on Saturday at 2.40pm to travel to the Cathedral of Saints Patrick & Felim, Cavan for Funeral Mass at three O’ clock. Burial will take place afterwards in Killygarry Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to the Killygarry Graveyard upkeep fund, c/o Mc Mahon Funeral Directors, or any family member. House private to family at all times please.
