The owner of Boru the Golden Eagle believes the bird might have been in Glaslough the entire time.
Falconer Brian McCann found Boru on the Castle Leslie estate at the weekend, after conducting a comprehensive nine day search of the border area.
He thanked all those who assisted him in locating the eagle, and everyone who contacted him with sightings over the past week.
