KEEP WELL: How local students and older people have come together over lockdown

This week, as part of our our Keep Well campaign, brought to you by Healthy Cavan and Healthy Monaghan, we are looking at how different generations of people keep well, not just during lockdown – but at all times.

Today, we are heard how younger people and older people have been engaging with each other to learn more about themselves and other generations.

Bob Gilbert is the Chair of the Cavan Older People’s Council – which is linked to Age Friendly Ireland.

He started by explaining that his work with TY students aims to break down barriers and get people of all ages to work closer together.
