37 community groups and sports clubs across Cavan are sharing the latest round of Community Enhancement funds.
€19,000 is being distributed to each Municipal District to promote local and community development.
15 groups in Bailieborough – Cootehill, 12 in Ballyjamesduff and 10 in Cavan-Belturbet will benefit of between €400 and €4,250.

The funding has been welcomed locally and is being described as “vital” in keeping small projects going.
