70% of people surveyed believe there is a drug and alcohol problem in the region.
The newly established Monaghan and Cavan Youth Substance Support (MaCYSS) carried out this research to gather local data on views and concerns in relation to youth alcohol and drug use.
230 people aged 16 and over took part and that information will go towards creating educational tools, developing a personalised young person’s plans for those availing of services, and linking with other support services.
