78 local roads in Carrickmacross Castleblayney MD in disrepair

78 local roads in the Carrickmacross Castleblayney MD have been rated as being in disrepair.

Of the 523 Local Roads and nine Regional Roads in the area, 17 per cent have a PSCI rating of 4 or less, meaning they require a structural overlay.

Local Councillors were told the 2021 Roads Restoration Programme will see seven local roads and four sections of Regional Roads will be resurfaced this year.

However, there no roads in the Carrickmacross - Castleblayney area will be reconstructed in 2021.
