Aldi is to create almost 50 new jobs in local stores this year.
The German discount supermarket announced today that 1,050 jobs will be created around the country in 2021 as part of expansion plans.
49 of the jobs will be at stores in Cavan and Monaghan, with 25 of those being permanent.

Currently, Aldi employs 4,500 staff at its stores across Ireland.
