Almost €4 million in Restart grants have been paid to businesses in Cavan and Monaghan.
The scheme was set up for businesses who are reopening after the Covid-19 lockdown, with grants of up to €25,000 available.
According to the latest figures, locally businesses in Monaghan have received the most at €2.3 million, followed by Cavan with €1.6 million .

Those in Roscommon also received €1.6 million, while businesses in Longford have received €1.3 million. €940,000 has so far been paid in Leitrim.
Nationally, over €130 million has been paid in Restart grants.
