A local victims rights campaigner says proposals to offer amnesty to those who carried out killings during the Troubles are "insulting".
The British government is reportedly considering amnesties for incidents that took place before the Good Friday Agreement was signed.
Margaret Urwin, a member of Justice for the Forgotten, added that the plans "shows the utter contempt" the British Government has for "the Irish Government and for all victims and survivors".

Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Coveney says the Irish government will oppose any unilateral action on legacy issues.
