Appeal after car broken into outside mass in Belturbet

Gardaí are appealing for information after a car was broken into outside mass in Beturbet on Sunday.

The incident happened outside St Mary’s Church in Staghall between 11.30 and 12.15pm on Sunday.

Gardaí say some of the items that were stolen were later found discarded on the Yellow Road a short time later.

Anyone who saw any suspicious behaviour in the area at the time is asked to contact Gardaí in Belturbet.

Gardaí are also warning people to make sure valuables aren’t left visible inside cars and that doors and windows are locked.
