At least four eggs laid in Mannok's kestrel nest

At least four eggs have been laid by the kestrel living in a Cavan quarry.

Local company Mannok has installed a webcam in a hole in the wall of the quarry, which is used as a nesting site by the birds.

It's part of a project with Queen's University PhD student Kez Armstrong, who has been updating on developments.

At least four eggs are being incubated in the nest at the moment but kestrels can lay up to six in a year.

The birds return to the area every year.
