The culprits behind the theft of money from an ATM in Cavan town broke through the roof of the filling station it was inside.
Gardaí were alerted to the incident at Applegreen Service Station on the Dublin Road.
Wires connected to the building's alarm system were cut and substantial damage was caused.

They then took the entire contents of the ATM.
Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to contact them in the Cavan town station.
