The US President-elect doesn't want to see a "guarded border" on the island of Ireland as a result of Brexit.
Speaking last night, Joe Biden said the idea of closing the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic is not right.
Talks are continuing between the UK and EU on an agreement with the transition period due to end at the end of the year.
