A book has been published to document the history of the McCabe name in
Cavan and Monaghan.
Over lockdown, the Clann McCabe Society gathered all their information and
produced a definitive record of where the name came from, and how it
integrated into Irish history.
It covers the first descendants who came to Ireland originally as
"professional soldiers" for Irish chieftains, right through to the modern
day.

Honorary Secretary of Clann McCabe, Brian McCabe says a few famous family
members have made it into the book.
