A Monaghan Councillor has called for an extension to the rates waiver for small businesses.
PJ O'Hanlon says everything must be done to help businesses that have been hit during the covid-19 pandemic.
He added that businesses need "breathing space to get back up on their feet" and "overheads need to be kept to a minimum".

Councillor O'Hanlon told a recent County Council meeting that he has raised the issue with Fianna Fáil Senator Robbie Gallagher.
