Carrickmacross gardaí are appealing for information in relation to a spate of Eir cable thefts.
The culprits are stripping the cables for its valuable copper.
The rural roadside thefts occurred in the townlands Drumboat, Coolreagh, and Coolcair, between the first and tenth of August.

Similar thefts in the area occurred at the end of June and the beginning of July.
Anyone with any information in relation to these incidents is asked to make contact with Carrickmacross Garda Station.
