Castleblayney Gardaí are appealing for information after criminal damage was caused to an ornamental lamp post on a private driveway in Tullynacrunnat, Cullaville.
The incident occurred at around 7.45 this morning.
It is believed that a car crashed into the lamp post and left the scene without reporting the incident.

A small blue car with a sunroof was observed leaving the area, and gardaí have made an appeal to anyone who may have witnessed or have dash-cam footage of the incident.
