A Cavan estate agent says he has seen a "steady increase in rents" which is caused by a "chronic shortage" of rental properties.
A daft.ie rental report for the third quarter of 2020 shows Cavan and Monaghan have both experienced a quarter-on-quarter increase in average rental prices.
Cavan saw a 2.3% increase when compared with Quarter 2 of this year, with the average rent price standing at €767.

Monaghan experienced a 2.1% increase, with average rents of €802.
