Cavan gardai are appealing for information in relation to a burglary in Derry, Shercock.
The incident occurred between 5.30 pm on the 7th, and 8 am on the 8th of September.
A site was broken into and a large number of tools were stolen and a lorry was also damaged.

Gardaí are also investigating an incident in Dernakesh, Cootehill, where on the first and second of September, a red double axle trailer and a generator were stolen from a site.
Garda Lisa Stephens of Bailieborough Garda Station offered this advice to residents ahead of the dark winter months:
