Cavan General Hospital asks people to attend for emergencies only due to increase in covid patients

Cavan General Hospital is asking that people only attend for urgent or emergency purposes, due to the increasing number of covid patients.

There is currently a high attendance in the hospital as a result.

Hospital management is asking patients to consider their care options via their GP, GP Out of Hours, or Pharmacist before presenting to the Emergency Department.
