Cavan General Hospital continues to have the highest number of Covid-19 patients in the country.

33 people are currently admitted there with the virus, with one additional person added yesterday evening.

One person is being treated in a Critical Care bed there.

There are 11 Covid patients in the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore, and 10 in Our Lady of Lourdes in Drogheda.

As of yesterday evening, 280 people are being treated in Irish hospitals for Covid 19.
