A Cavan man is running bare foot from Letterkenny to Killarney for Pieta House this Christmas.
Stephen Reburn from Maudabawn will start the fundraiser at 9am on Christmas Day in Donegal and will run for four days until he reaches Kerry.
Donations can be made on his Facebook page, or on the Pieta House website under 'Stephen's no sock run'.

He says the high suicide rates in the region over recent months prompted this and it was born out of a necessity to raise awareness for those struggling:
