Schools in Cavan and Monaghan are set to benefit from technology grants of more than €1.67 million.
The funding will be used to support the development of digital technologies in schools.
It’s part of a €50 million nationwide fund which has been signed off on by the Education Minister Norma Foley to help young people improve their digital skills.

161 schools are set to benefit, with Cavan schools receiving €883,000, while Monaghan schools will benefit from grants of €789,000.
These grants will issue automatically to all schools during the first week in December.
