A Cavan National School has been granted planning permission for an outdoor educational space.
Killinkere National School has received permission to retain and convert an existing storage building to form a covered outdoor play and educational space.
The school has also received permission to alter an existing gravelled area to form new hard surfaced play area as well as the erection of a 2 metre high fence along the roadside boundary of the play area.

The school says the development will help it cater to the different abilities and interests of its pupils.
