A Cavan woman hasn’t given up hope of finding her African grey parrot after it went missing in August.

Margaret from Killinkere says the bird, who was a rescue and has been with them for a year and a half, has been spotted on local lands over the past two months.

She engaged a man who ‘senses lost animals’ and he told her that Boycey was still alive, however, her fear is that he won’t answer as he usually would because he is scared and doesn’t recognise where he is.

Margaret says she has done everything to try and find the pet, and described Boycey on The Joe Finnegan Show this morning:
