The company Cellnex has approached Coillte to seek permission to locate a telecoms tower at Rossmore.
This was the statement from the Commercial Director of Land Solutions with Coillte, Richard Lowe, in response to a question posed by local Senator Robbie Gallagher.
While there is currently no mast or structure at the park the telecoms company says it wants to erect one at the site in the ‘least impactful part of the property’.

Mr.Lowe also told Senator Gallagher that he believes consultation letters are due to be issued next week from Cignal to inform directly affected stakeholders.
He concluded by stating that any development of this nature at Rossmore will go through the normal planning approval process.
