The CMETB has allocated more than €55,000 in funding to 73 youth groups across Cavan and Monaghan.
It’s part of the Local Youth Club Grant Scheme, which is co-funded by the proceeds of the National Lottery and offers vital support to volunteer led youth clubs.
A wide range of youth groups are set to benefit, from scouts groups to Christian youth societies.
Councillor Colm Carthy, Chair of CMETB Youth Work Committee, paid tribute to the youth groups for all they contribute to the region.
Meanwhile, CMETB Youth Officer Maureen McIntyre, said that she and the CMETB are delighted to support the valuable work of local youth programmes through the grant.
