Cyclist taken to hospital with minor injuries following crash involving a lorry outside Cavan Town

A cyclist has been taken to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries following a crash outside of Cavan Town this afternoon.

The incident took place on the Dublin Road close to McDonald's and involved a lorry and a cyclist.

The incident is said to have occurred at around 2.15pm, and gardaí and paramedics who were in attendance have since left the scene.
