Creating a ‘one stop shop’ for parents in Cavan who need support is the immediate aim of a new parenting strategy.
A new five-year plan to guiding the delivery of supports to local parents and their families was formally launched by Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council, Sarah O'Reilly in a virtual event last week.
'Strategy For Parenting Needs In County Cavan' is an initiative developed by the Parenting Cavan group and its panel of expert advisors – along with Cavan County Local Development, and other organisations.

Terry Hyland the CEO of the CCLD says they had feedback from over 200 parents locally and hope that they can begin to roll out some of their plans soon:
