The Deputy Chief Medical Officer says there's now a "very high level" of Covid-19 in communities across the country.
2,074 new cases were reported yesterday - the highest number since the end of January, with 43 patients in ICU.
Donegal, Monaghan, Mayo, Galway, Roscommon, Louth and Cavan have some of the highest incidence rates.
Dr. Denis McCauley from the Irish Medical Organisation expects more infections in the coming weeks.
We have reported over 10,000 cases of #COVID19 in the last week alone and, while we have very high incidence across Donegal, Monaghan, Mayo, Galway, Roscommon, Louth and Cavan in particular, incidence is rising across all 26 counties.
