The Education Minister is to meet with west Cavan Save our Schools campaigners today.
The group is opposed to CMETB's proposal to merge St Bricin's and St Mogue's secondary schools with a new facility in Ballyconnell.
Today's meeting was organised by Fianna Fail TD Brendan Smith, and will also be attended by local councillors.

Joe O'Reilly is one of the campaign representatives, he says a meeting with Minister Norma Foley has been a long time coming.
