Five more people with Covid-19 have passed away in the Republic.
It brings the death toll to 1,664 since the outbreak began.
There have been 38 new cases detected with the total now standing at 25,142.

Eleven of the new cases confirmed today are in the Northern Sound region.
Monaghan has nine new cases today with its total now 521. Cavan has seen an increase of two. It now has 846 cases.
No new cases were registered locally yesterday for the first time since March.

Meanwhile in Northern Ireland one more Covid 19 related death has been announced.
It brings the death toll in Northern Ireland to 535. 33 new cases of coronavirus have been reported bringing that total to 4,773.
