GAA accused of "long history of rule breaking" after latest alleged Covid breach

It's the latest such incident alleged to have occurred locally.

The GAA has been accused of having a "long history of rule bending" after another case of training happening in breach of Covid restrictions.

Gardaí confirmed to Shannonside Northern Sound yesterday that they attended an 'impromptu' training session at Aughnamullen GAA Club in Monaghan.

They confirmed they spoke to a number of individuals.

Both Aughnamullen GAA Club and the Monaghan County Board said they have no comment to make.

It's less than a week since senior football manager Seamus 'Banty' McEnaney was suspended by the County Board after a training session was held in breach of restrictions.
