Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after the theft of tools from a number of vans in Cavan.
The incidents occurred in the Ballinagh area of county at around 9 o'clock last night.
The occupants of a white Volkswagan Passat estate car are suspected of breaking into and stealing tool from a number of vans in the area.

Anyone with information on the thefts, or sightings of a car matching the description, is asked to contact Cavan Garda Station.
