Gardaí have carried out a number of searches to tackle organised crime in east Cavan.
Bailieborough Gardaí, along with the Cavan/Monaghan Divisional Drugs Unit, the National Dog Unit and the Regional Armed Support Unit searched a number of properties yesterday morning.
The operation was targeted against organised crime gangs in the Bailieborough area, who are believed to be involved in the sale and supply of illegal drugs.

It's understood that no drugs were seized, and investigations are continuing.
