Gardaí in Carrickmacross are investigating an alleged suspicious approach in the town late last week.

It was reported that a female, aged in her early teens, was approached by a vehicle on Thursday the 10^th of September.

This incident occurred in the Oriel Road area of Carrickmacross at approximately 6:10pm.

Gardaí confirmed to northern sound that enquiries are continuing and anyone with information should report it to Carrickmacross Garda Station.
