Gardaí in Cavan are asking firearm dealers to be on the lookout following the theft of a shotgun.
Between 9.30pm on the 31st of July and 8am on August 1st there was a break-in at Cavan Car Parts, Crumlin, Carrickaboy.
During the burglary 2 booster packs, a strimmer, a welder, and an escort 4103 shotgun were taken.

Gardaí are asking that anyone with information on any of the items stolen contact Cavan Garda Station or the Garda confidential line, particularly the shotgun:
