Gardaí investigating third church break-in this month

Gardaí are investigating a third break-in at a Church in Co Monaghan.

The Presbyterian Church in Newbliss was broken into after a rear window at the building was broken.

It's not known if anything was taken in the incident.

Gardaí say it was reported to them on Monday of this week but it could have occurred in the days previous.

They're appealing for anyone with information to contact Monaghan Garda Station on 047-77240.

It's the third break-in at a church in the area this month.

Small sums of money were stolen when Churches in Smithborough and Killeevan were broken into.
