Gardaí in Monaghan are appealing for information following the theft of a quad.

The Honda 500 quad was stolen from a shed in the townland of Tullaghan, Ballinode.

The robbery took place on Sunday night or Monday morning between 11pm and 7am.

There have been a number of similar thefts in the region in recent weeks.

Gardaí are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious during the night in that area or can offer any information please contact Monaghan Garda Station on 047 77240.
