A local Green Party rep says it's beyond him why mandatory quarantine hasn't been introduced for all international travel.
Tate Donnelly says there is public support for the measure but his party leader and Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan has done little.
The Government has said mandatory quarantine would do little to prevent the import of Covid cases due to the border and the lack of similar arrangements in Northern Ireland.

Only arrivals from Austria, Brazil, Dubai and 17 African countries are subject to mandatory quarantine, while anyone else must self-quarantine.
