Monaghan has seen an increase in its 14-day Covid-19 incidence rate, while Cavan has seen a drop.
The latest figures released last night show five cases recorded in Monaghan while fewer than five were recorded in Cavan.
Monaghan's rate now stands at 114 cases per 100,000, up from 107 the previous day.
Cavan's is now 95.8, down from 97.
The national 14 day incidence rate is estimated to be 108 cases per 100,000, however both Donegal and Louth have rates of over 200.
Meanwhile, Government ministers will meet this morning to discuss exiting Level 5 Covid-19 restrictions.
NPHET will meet tomorrow and is expected to be cautious in it's approach to re-opening the country.
The Government would prefer to move directly to level three, with a decision expected on Thursday or Friday.
