An investigation is on-going following a hit and run in Monaghan over the weekend.
A parked car was damaged after it was hit at approximately 10.55pm on Sunday night at St. Dympna's Scotstown.
Items which fell from the car which fled the scene indicate that it was a Volkswagen.
