Liffey Meats and Lidl have launched a new packaging for their premium beef range.
The new FSC-certified paper wrap will see a 75 per cent reduction in plastic used by the Ballyjamesduff processor, which will save more than 70 tonnes of plastic packaging every year.
The sustainable packaging is being introduced in two new Liffey Meats products before being rolled out across the entire range in the new year.
